Job Description: Assistant Professor - Renal Dialysis TechnologyPosition Summary:

The Assistant Professor in Renal Dialysis Technology is responsible for teaching, researching, and contributing to the development of educational programs related to renal dialysis and related technologies. The faculty member will provide instruction to students, conduct research in the field of renal care, and engage in professional development activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
• Deliver lectures, labs, and practical sessions in Renal Dialysis Technology programs.
• Develop and update curriculum for courses on dialysis technology, renal physiology, and related subjects.
• Supervise students in practical environments, ensuring high-quality patient care training.
• Use modern teaching methods (e.g., online platforms, simulations) to enhance student learning.
• Research and Scholarly Activities:
• Conduct research in the field of renal dialysis, kidney diseases, and related technologies.
• Publish research findings in reputable medical and technological journals.
• Secure research funding and participate in collaborative projects with other professionals in the field.
• Clinical and Practical Training:
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to students during their clinical rotations.
• Coordinate with hospitals and clinics for hands-on training opportunities.
• Ensure students are well-prepared to use dialysis machines and understand patient care protocols.
• Curriculum Development:
• Develop and revise course content to reflect the latest research and technological advancements in the dialysis field.
• Design and implement assessments to measure student learning outcomes.
• Academic Support:
• Advise and mentor students on academic, career, and research-related issues.
• Stay current with advances in dialysis technology, healthcare practices, and education methods.
• Professional Development and Collaboration:
• Attend workshops, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on emerging trends in renal dialysis and education.
• Collaborate with colleagues in healthcare, technology, and education to enhance the curriculum.
• Administrative Duties:
• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and accreditation processes.
• Contribute to program evaluation and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:
• A Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Renal Dialysis Technology, Medical Technology, Healthcare, or a related field.
• Specialized training or certification in renal dialysis technology may be required (e.g., Certified Hemodialysis Technician or similar credentials).
• Experience:
• At least 3-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a clinical or technical field related to dialysis.
• Experience working in a clinical setting, particularly in dialysis units or nephrology departments, is preferred.
• A proven track record of scholarly activity (research, publications, etc.) is beneficial.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to teach complex subjects and make them accessible to students.
• Proficiency in dialysis technology, including the use of modern dialysis equipment.
• Familiarity with educational technologies and e-learning tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
