Regional Sales - West

Role

Lead the Higher Education (CollegeConnect) Business for the region: own the regional order inflow & revenue target, build & run a team of Sales Managers, & establish L&T EduTech as the preferred academic & career partner for universities & institutes across the region — for students, faculty, institution management & the employers who hire from them.

What you will do

• Own the regional P&L line: annual order inflow, revenue, collections & gross margin; build the region plan, monthly forecast & review cadence
• Hire, coach & manage a team of 3–5 Sales Managers; set territory targets, run pipeline reviews & hold the team to quality, timelines & commitments
• Open & personally lead strategic accounts — state & private universities, deemed universities, large institute groups & state bodies — engaging VCs, Directors, Trustees & Owners
• Shape the regional go-to-market: segment institutions, run round-tables & industry forums, build referenceable partner institutions
• Position the full stakeholder proposition — outcomes for students, enablement for faculty, differentiation for management, talent access for employers — & structure multi-year, multi-offering partnerships
• Govern proposals, pricing & approvals with the Head – Sales, SMEs & Finance; drive signed agreements through to revenue with Delivery
• Own customer health across the region: renewals, price revisions, escalations & expansion within signed institutions
• Represent the region in leadership reviews; feed market, competitor & product insight back to the business

What we look for

• 12–18 years in B2B / institutional sales, including 4+ years leading a regional sales team in EdTech, higher education, skilling or allied sectors
• Established relationships with university & institute leadership across the region
• Track record of delivering ?10 Cr+ annual order inflow & closing multi-crore, multi-year institutional deals
• Strong people leadership, forecasting discipline & stakeholder management; comfortable with extensive travel across the region
• Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred.

Success in 12 months

Regional order inflow & revenue target achieved, full team hired & productive, 20+ new institutions signed, renewals at 90%+ & 3–5 reference partnerships established in the region.
