We are looking for a Plant Manager (MFG IN LITHIUM ION BATTER PACK IS MANDATORY) / Head to drive continuous improvement and optimization of all processes.Role & responsibilities 1. Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety compliance.2. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize output.3. Lead and motivate a diverse team of department managers and frontline staff to achieve production targets and quality standards.4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in performance.5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and environmental standards.6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, and finance, to drive operational excellence and meet business objectives.7. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.8. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for plant operations.9. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, training, and development.10. Foster a safe work environment and promote adherence to all health and safety protocols and procedures.Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.2. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in plant management, with a proven track record of success in leading manufacturing operations.3. Strong technical expertise in production processes, equipment, and systems.4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.5. Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on continuous improvement.6. Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive change initiatives.7. Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.8. Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial data, and make data-driven decisions.9. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.10. 10-15 years of experience , minimum 4 years experience in electric vehicles battery space , min 4 years experience in Lead NPD role .Extensive knowledge of product development methodologies, softwares CAD, CAE, PLM etcEnsure products get certified with respect to various compliance requirements like AIS , UN38.3 etcAttend important client / investor meetings and defend technical capabilities of the company.Patents and papers published would be an added advantage.Should have managed a team of min 15 R&D engineers and managers.Open to travel national and international. International exposure / working experience is a plus.Should have at least 3 relevant referenceOpen to work in the city : Bangalore and visit manufacturing facilities when needed.
