Structural Rebar Detailer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed

  rebar shop drawings

  and

  bar bending schedules (BBS)

  .
• Interpret structural and architectural drawings to create accurate reinforcement details.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ACI, BS, ASTM, etc.).
• Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and contractors.
• Identify and resolve detailing issues to optimize constructability.
• Use

  AutoCAD, RebarCAD, ASA, or similar detailing software

  for rebar detailing.
• Prepare material take-offs and quantity estimation for procurement.
• Collaborate with the site team to address RFIs and resolve field-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to project deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop

  3D rebar models

  for structural elements using BIM software.
• Generate

  shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and clash detection reports

  .
• Extract rebar quantities and assist in project cost estimation.
• Work closely with structural engineers, contractors, and other BIM teams.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Perform clash detection and resolve constructability issues.
• Collaborate with the site team to provide coordination support and resolve issues.
• Maintain and manage BIM data and documentation for projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

• Software Skills:

  Proficiency in AutoCAD, RebarCAD, ASA, All Plan
• Strong understanding of structural drawings and construction methodologies.
