Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Rebar Detailer to prepare accurate reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules for structural concrete projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in reading structural drawings, interpreting design requirements, and using detailing software to produce high-quality shop drawings that meet project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and placement drawings based on structural and architectural plans.

Interpret construction drawings and specifications to identify rebar requirements.

Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, and fabricators to resolve design or detailing issues.

Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, IS, or ASTM as applicable).

Perform quantity take-offs and check for accuracy before submission.

Manage revisions and maintain version control of drawings.

Support project timelines by ensuring detailing work is completed within deadlines.

Use RebarCAD, Revit, AutoCAD.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Proficiency in AutoCAD (RebarCAD / Tekla / Revit Structure is a plus).

Strong understanding of reinforcement detailing, concrete structures, and construction drawings.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience with international codes (ACI, BS, or ASTM).

Prior experience in detailing for bridges, buildings, or precast concrete structures.

Exposure to 3D modeling tools (Tekla, Revit).
