Description
As a UI Engineer at EY, your role involves developing large and complex web applications architecture, creating sound project plans, and developing relationships across the business to understand data requirements. You will be responsible for building reusable components, translating designs into high-quality code, monitoring project progress and quality, reviewing developed solutions for compliance with architectural design, maintaining software through its lifecycle, and optimizing components for maximum performance. Your key responsibilities include: - Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use - Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code - Monitoring the progress and quality of the project - Reviewing and developing due diligence to confirm compliance with architectural design - Maintaining software through the product lifecycle including design, development, verification, and bug fixes - Optimizing components for maximum performance across a wide array of web-capable devices and browsers To qualify for this role, you must have: - Experience with ReactJS with 2+ years of production development - Excellent JavaScript skills with 3-5+ years of development experience - 3+ years of experience in web development - Awareness of JSON, REST, and Web Services - Familiarity with testing tools like Protractor, Karma, Jasmine - Thorough understanding of React JS principles and familiarity with RESTful APIs - Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model - Strong command over HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web designing - Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token - Experience with front-end development tools like Webpack, NPM, etc. - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements - Testing ability and experience with unit test scripts/specs (Karma, Jasmine) - Familiarity with code versioning tools and DevOps - Excellent problem-solving skills Ideally, you'll also have experience in Angular2+/React Native/Flutter/NodeJS, Redux, AWS/Azure, SSO, LDAP, OAuth, SSL integration, and emerging technologies such as IoT, AI/ML.
