React Developer

As a Mid-Level React.js Developer at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using React.js and related front-end technologies. Your main tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-friendly, efficient, and scalable applications. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a solid understanding of front-end development, React.js, and best practices for creating responsive, high-performance applications. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and maintaining user-facing features using React.js, building reusable and efficient components and libraries, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. You will work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services, troubleshoot and debug application issues, and write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. To excel in this role, you should have a strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles, along with hands-on experience in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and front-end tools such as Webpack, Babel, and NPM. Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Context API, proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors like SASS or LESS, and familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous JavaScript are also required. Additionally, you should have an understanding of responsive design principles, mobile-first design, version control tools like Git, and front-end testing libraries like Jest, Enzyme, and React Testing Library. Being able to work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives is essential for this role. The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other team members to define and deliver new features.
