Position Overview The Costing Associate will play a critical role in the estimation, budgeting, and cost control process of interior fit-out projects. This role involves analyzing project drawings, preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), coordinating with vendors and suppliers, and supporting the project and sales teams with accurate cost data for client proposals and tender submissions. Key Responsibilities 1. Estimation & Costing Prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for corporate interior projects. Review architectural, civil, and interior drawings to extract quantity data. Analyze design concepts and specifications to forecast material, labor, and time costs. Provide cost comparisons and value engineering options for alternate materials or solutions. Site visits and physical measurements. 2. Vendor Coordination & Rate Analysis Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams for updated material and labor rates. Evaluate vendor quotations and perform rate analysis to ensure competitiveness. Maintain and update a cost database for various materials, finishes, and services. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel (Advanced).
