The candidate must have strong experience in EPC, HAM, and other PPP/contractual models. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of road works (earthwork, GSB/WMM, structures, bituminous layers, etc.). Proficient in Primavera/MS Project and MS Excel. Having good knowledge of COS & EOT Claims. Having good knowledge in SAP, specially of PS Module. Hands-on experience in measurement sheets, billing formats, and BOQ interpretation. Good analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.
Role The Mechanical In-charge will be responsible for effective planning, deployment, operation, and maintenance of all construction equipment and vehicles used in road projects. The role requires strong hands-on experience in road construction machinery, preventive maintenance, breakdown management, cost control, and coordination with site execution teams to ensure uninterrupted project progress. Manage and control all plant, machinery, and vehicles deployed at the project site. Responsibilities • Ensure availability and optimum utilization of road construction equipment such as HMP/WMM plants, pavers, rollers, graders, excavators, loaders, tippers, and bitumen sprayers. • Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime. • Attend and rectify machinery breakdowns promptly and coordinate with OEM/service agencies when required. • Monitor fuel consumption, lubricants, and consumables; ensure effective cost control. • Maintain records related to equipment operation, maintenance, fuel usage, and breakdown analysis. • Supervise and manage mechanics, fitters, electricians, and support staff at site. • Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and equipment documentation (fitness, insurance, permits, etc.). • Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams for equipment planning and execution support. • Support procurement and stores teams for spares, tools, and consumables planning. Preferred candidate profile Having educational qualification in Diploma / B. Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Reputed Institutes.
