Radiology Tech - Per Diem

Working under general supervision, you will perform routine to complex radiographic and fluoroscopic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment throughout General Diagnostic Radiology, following established guidelines and protocols. Your advanced knowledge of radiologic technology will be essential as you act as a Diagnostic subject matter expert and assist other technologists as needed. You will be responsible for preparing and positioning patients for procedures by following established protocols to achieve the highest quality image and entering complex data into the computer system. Additionally, you will review, verify, and evaluate images and radiographs to ensure technical and image quality, while ensuring compliance with related policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Effective communication and conflict resolution techniques with patients, coworkers, physicians, and all other healthcare members will be crucial in this role. Other duties may be assigned to you as needed. As a successful candidate, you must be a recent graduate of a school of radiologic technology and possess the following qualifications: California Radiology Technologist - Radiography (CRT-R), California Radiology Technologist of Fluoroscopy (CRT-F), Registered Technologist for Radiography issued by ARRT (R.T(R)(ARRT)), BART or BLS at the time of hire with a commitment to get BART within six (6) months of the hire date, at least 18 months of recent experience in a similar role and setting, and a thorough understanding of various radiological systems including PACS and RIS. Preferred qualifications include being bilingual in English and Spanish and having experience in a similar clinical role and setting. It is important to note that you must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and potential overtime.
