Radiation Therapist

• Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiotherapy equipment safely and effectively.
• Position patients correctly and consistently using immobilization devices.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions.
• Provide clear explanations of treatment procedures and answer patient questions.
• Offer physical and emotional support to patients and families.
• Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition to the medical team.
• Perform simulation procedures to determine optimal treatment planning.
• Assist in the creation and verification of treatment plans in coordination with medical physicists and dosimetrists.
• Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records and documentation.
• Conduct daily quality assurance checks on machines and report malfunctions.
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, colleagues, and self.
• Ensure proper use and care of radiation therapy equipment and immobilization tools.
• Coordinate with Radiation Oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, and other team members.
• Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

- BSc. MEDICAL RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGY

Experience:

- 1 - 3 years

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
