The "Digital Command Center (DCC) - Enterprise Operations Technician" is responsible for carrying out monitoring operations on various IT systems - physical and virtual servers, storage, and network and telecommunication equipment - in data centers, public cloud instances, and other facilities. They monitor data center infrastructure, servers, and computer networks for issues using several monitoring platforms. Quest implements traditional system monitoring as well as more proactive analytics. When an issue is detected, the DCC technician must determine the impact scope, and root cause if possible. JOB SUMMARY: An Order Entry Clerk is responsible for obtaining and entering supply orders into the Materials Management software system (Peoplesoft). The National Order Entry Team services all clinical regions as well as select Esoteric lines of business, supporting our clients by processing their request for the supplies needed to collect and submit specimens to the lab for testing. These orders are submitted via fax, email, Quanum, and phone from both internal and external clients. Order entry keys the request under the client account number in PeopleSoft, reviews and adjusts the order as needed in alignment with utilization restrictions and compliance guidelines, capturing all relevant information. The order is then released into the system to be processed by one of our fulfillment centers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtains supply orders from our workforce management software (Quickbase) and enters them into the Materials Management software. This purpose of this role will not only provide technical directions but also oversight DevSecOps enablement and enhancements to deliver business applications in AWS/GCP Cloud. DevSecOps Prinipal engineer will also be accountable for the successful implementation, deployments, and configuration management along with development of new automation and agile practices (CI/CD). Lastly, this resource will work with DevOps engineers, architects and team of developers to enhance devops standards across the organization. Duties Responsibilities: Managing application deployment in the cloud with Continuous integration and Continuous deployment by using DevSecOps tools and technologies. Responsible for development, management, and implementation of a CI/CD framework to make it easier for teams to build, configure and deploy software in AWS/Azure Cloud. Assist in transforming application to run on microservices application architectures. Work with developers and engineers to build cloud native application and DevSecOps standards. Implement cloud best practices for application deployments (CI/CD) and configuration management. Lead DevOps Code reviews, manage and maintain shared code repositories. Lead DevOps engineering practices to ensure standards are enforced across entire pipeline and code artifacts. Lead and direct cloud engineering resources to ensure timely delivery of services. Responsible for mentoring junior talent as well as directing technical staff through technical challenges, tasks, and projects. Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Architecture, Security, Agile Coaches, Project team etc) Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, development, QA, and operations, to ensure smooth and successful release deployments. Own the delivery of an entire application migration by implementing DevSecOps practices. Collaborate with QE team to define test automation and architecture, best practices, framework, tools, and systems for the DevSecOps organization. Guiding investment in tools, processes and training as well as maintaining and improving existing deployment and infrastructure systems.Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, Node JS, TypeScript, SQL, Ruby and Go, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, CM tools including Ansible and Terraform, and a variety of AWS/Azure tools and service
Duties Responsibilities: Be a part of a Scrum team working on API and microservices development using open-source technologies like Java, SpringBoot etc Design APIs following RESTful API design principles and API-led architecture. Lead API development and integrations, working with other developers, architects, and product owners. Build consistent reusable secure APIs and microservices following all enterprise standards and best practices. Develop code that is highly scalable and has consistent performance even with high load on the application Establish a strong culture of security awareness and ownership to establish the DevSecOps practices within API Dev Lifecycle Responsible for debugging within a complex environment that includes multiple connected systems. Responsible for operational reporting, health monitoring of the application Ensure that the API based architecture enables for best-in-class user experience and response time. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years experience in IT, including a minimum of 2 years in API and microservices development, using leading methodologies and processes. 3+ years of experience in Java Backend Development and skills with Spring Framework and Springboot. 2+ years experience working in Agile/Scrum model. 1+ years experience working in cloud (preferably AWS) and familiar with cloud services. 2+ experience with Gradle Experience with integrations with databases (SQL and NoSQL), SFTP servers, REST/SOAP/GraphQL APIs and other systems and platforms. Strong skills and expertise in unit testing frameworks like Junit Experience integrating with Messaging platforms like IBM MQ, Kafka and NATS Experience with architecture, design, development, deployment, testing, and integration of enterprise-wide applications. Experience with a wide variety of continuous integration and source control tools. Experience with designing API proxies and REST APIs using API Management platform. Required Work Experience: Extensive experience (5+ years) in software development, with a focus on full stack development. Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies such as Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc. Extensive experience in frontend development using React / Angular (preferably Angular 2+), including advanced components, services, routing, and state management. Solid understanding of web development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend build tools. Experience in GitHub/GitLab/any other source control tools Experience in Developing in microservices and Rest API Experience in CI/CD pipeline development using Jenkins/Other tools and deploying applications using it. The basic purpose of this position is to safeguard the organizations digital assets by maintaining a robust vulnerability management program that prioritizes risk reduction and compliance with security policies. Perform daily vulnerability assessments, create weekly metrics and reports, and handle ad-hoc requests as they arise. Work on analytical projects to enhance the vulnerability management process and develop strategies to address identified security issues. Prepare and present metrics and reports to senior leadership, showcasing trends in vulnerabilities over the year and how they are being addressed. Produce reports daily, weekly, and as needed on vulnerability assessments and remediation efforts. Responsible for training new hires and occasionally participating in candidate interviews.
