As a Quantitative Researcher at Sovereign Global, you will play a critical role in driving cutting-edge research and developing high-impact trading strategies across various asset classes. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting in-depth research to discover new alphas by focusing on market inefficiencies and exploitable signals systematically. - Designing, back testing, and optimizing trading strategies using quantitative techniques to maximize performance and minimize risk. - Developing efficient execution methodologies aligned with the firm's strategies, utilizing low-latency infrastructure when necessary. - Working with large datasets, deriving insights, and utilizing statistical methods to enhance existing strategies or create new ones. - Ensuring robust validation of models and strategies, including stress testing and risk assessment. - Collaborating with software engineers to seamlessly integrate research models into the trading infrastructure. - Continuously monitoring and evaluating strategy performance, making necessary adjustments to enhance profitability. - Staying updated on the latest academic research and market trends to keep strategies competitive.
