Quantitative Researcher

As a Quantitative Researcher at Graviton, you will be a part of a privately funded quantitative trading firm based in Gurgaon, dedicated to achieving excellence in financial markets" research. Our team engages in trading across various asset classes and trading venues, utilizing a diverse range of concepts and techniques including time series analysis, filtering, classification, stochastic models, pattern recognition, and statistical inference. We process terabytes of data to generate ideas for identifying pricing anomalies in financial markets. Your responsibilities will include developing new trading models or enhancing existing ones using our in-house platforms. You will apply advanced mathematical techniques to model and predict market movements, analyze extensive financial datasets to pinpoint trading opportunities, and offer real-time analytical support to experienced traders. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in a highly analytical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science from renowned institutions like IITs. A quantitative mindset, familiarity with Linux/Unix, programming skills (preferably in C++ or C), and a keen interest in learning about financial markets are essential.
