Quantitative Developer - Commodities

As a member of the Quant Technology team at Millennium, you will be part of a group focused on building cutting-edge analytics and trader support tools for Fixed Income, Commodities, Credit, and FX trading. The Fixed Income & Commodities Technology (FICT) group offers a fast-paced environment with ample opportunities for growth. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work closely with Quant Researchers, Portfolio Managers & Technology teams to build commodities fundamental analytics and modelling platform from scratch. - Develop scalable libraries and APIs for commodities fundamental modelling across multiple assets and geographies. - Build, help maintain, and operate end-to-end modelling pipelines involving diverse and large sets of statistical and machine learning models. - Contribute to building scalable tools for data analysis and visualization. - Collaborate with the team to develop robust delivery and operating models for rapid development and scalable deployment of new capabilities. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong fundamentals in Python (for data science) and SQL/Database experience. - Solid experience in all stages of the data modelling pipeline, including data access, transformation, model training, and inference pipeline, and data analysis tools. - Ability to work independently with hands-on experience in the complete software development lifecycle and relevant development tools. - Previous experience as a Quant Developer/Data Scientist in the financial industry, with a preference for commodities and hands-on statistical/data modelling experience. - Familiarity with tools and libraries like Airflow, Flask, Dash, etc. is preferred.
