About The Role

Project Role :Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead)

Project Role Description :Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, while also developing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies that align with business objectives. You will focus on applying your knowledge of quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall application lifecycle, ensuring that testing is thorough and effective in identifying defects and driving improvements.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple architects, developers, and DevOps teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Collaborate with application teams (.NET, ReactJS) for seamless integration.

Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Optimize cost and performance leveraging AWS features (e.g., IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).

Monitor and report on the effectiveness of testing processes and suggest improvements.
Professional & Technical Skills:Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in PostgreSQL.

Strong understanding of data modeling and normalization, quality assurance methodologies, AWS services (RDS, Aurora, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation) and testing processes.

Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.

Advanced in PL/SQL programming andKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database deployments

Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.

Familiarity with DevOps, .NET and ReactJS integration is a plus

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 6+ years of experience in PostgreSQL on AWS (RDS/Aurora).

This position is based at our Gurugram office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
