Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software applications. The role will focus on designing and implementing robust test automation frameworks, driving continuous testing practices, and ensuring quality across web, API, database, and cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate should be passionate about quality engineering, automation, and continuous improvement throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline.
• Relevant certifications in Software Testing, Automation Testing, or Agile methodologies will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and test suites.
• Implement automation for web applications, APIs, and backend services using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, database, and performance testing.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster releases.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to implement effective solutions.
• Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and quality standards across projects.
• Ensure adherence to QA best practices and quality engineering standards.

Required Skills & Expertise

• 3-8 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
• Strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG.
• Experience in API testing using Postman and Rest Assured.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience in database testing with strong SQL skills.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
• Experience in Manual Testing and Exploratory Testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools such as Apache JMeter.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native applications.
