Quality Automation Specialist, AVP

Join us as a Quality Automation Specialist in a key role where you will undertake and enable automated testing activities in all delivery models. Your support will be crucial in helping teams develop quality solutions and ensuring continuous integration and defect-free deployment of customer value. You will work closely with feature teams and various stakeholders, providing you with excellent exposure to professional development opportunities. This role is being offered at the associate vice president level. In this highly collaborative position, you will contribute to transforming testing by utilizing quality processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance control, accuracy, and integrity. Your focus will be on incorporating repeatable, consistent quality into all phases of the idea to value lifecycle, ultimately reducing costs and time to market. Your responsibilities will include supporting the design of automation test strategies aligned with business or program goals, evolving intelligent testing approaches, collaborating with stakeholders and feature teams to ensure automated testing is an integral part of planning and delivery, designing stable, reusable automated tests, and applying testing and delivery standards according to product development lifecycle requirements. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of eight years of experience in automation testing, particularly in Agile development or CI/CD environments. You must be an innovative thinker capable of identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and developing complex automation code. Additionally, you should possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, experience working in Agile teams, the ability to align daily work with the strategic vision of the feature team, and a focus on achieving business outcomes. Key skills required for this role include expertise in end-to-end and automation testing using tools like Selenium Webdriver with Java, Cucumber, and Rest Assured, proficiency in Postman, SoapUI, IntelliJ, and Git/Stash, experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks, excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to management, and strong collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
