Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and mentor junior team members from both technical and functional standpoints, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.
  • Be hands-on and own functional deliveries, ensuring detailed execution and high-quality outcomes.
  • Apply expertise in C #, JavaScript, Automation Testing tools ( Selenium ) , or other test frameworks to craft, develop, and maintain test suites.
  • Manage comprehensive testing phases from planning to execution for functional and non-functional requirements, including design, development, and delivery.
  • Work alongside peers, product managers, developers, and other partners to grasp client requirements, contribute to design discussions, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Analyze and report on QA metrics, trends, and opportunities for improvement, communicating findings to senior management and recommending corrective actions.
  • Champion a culture of quality within the organization, driving awareness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Prioritize and develop improvements to continuously improve application stability and scalability.
  • Conduct reviews of applications and workflow processes to determine automation efficiency.
  • Drive a strong culture by bringing principles of inclusion and diversity to the team and setting the tone through specific recruiting, management actions, and employee engagement.
Qualifications
  • B.E. or equivalent experience / B.Tech. or equivalent experience / MCA degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in a senior QA role within the financial services industry, ideally in asset management or a related field.
Skills and Experience
  • Deep understanding of investment management processes, risk management methodologies, regulatory compliance requirements, or Investment Accounting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Automation testing using tools like Selenium .
  • Strong knowledge of Automation test frameworks, tools, and scripting languages.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex issues.
  • Consistent track record of successfully leading and implementing QA programs that drive continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of software quality assurance and engineering processes, methodologies, and effective approaches.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams with varied strengths.
  • Good foundation in RDBMS, SQL, and application infrastructure technologies, performance testing tools & methodologies (JMeter or other), and API testing for handling complex distributed systems.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to address challenges and work closely with all levels across teams to efficiently implement solutions.
Nice to Have
  • Experience working in an Agile Development Team.
  • Familiarity with AZURE DevOps, CI/CD integration, and associated tools and processes (Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube).
  • Knowledge of AI and Machine Learning (ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot).
  • Experience with Specflow /Cucumber and BDD.
  • Experience with cloud-based testing.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, Soap UI).
