Quality Assurance Analyst

As a Mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst at Cyzerg, you will be responsible for executing system testing on a variety of websites, mobile apps, and web applications. Your role will involve working collaboratively within the software development team and business units to validate test cases based on system requirements. Your primary objective will be to ensure the quality, reliability, integrity, and performance of all software products delivered to end users. You will review functional and design specifications to ensure a comprehensive understanding of individual deliverables. It will be your responsibility to confirm that validated deliverables align with functional and design specifications and requirements. You will be tasked with identifying and writing test scenarios and test cases derived from user stories and acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will isolate, replicate, document/report defects, and verify defect fixes. Your role will also involve executing and evaluating manual or automated test cases, as well as reporting test results. You will actively participate in test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members. It will be essential for you to differentiate between missed requirements, development bugs, production defects, and backlog items. Moreover, you will develop, document, and maintain functional test cases along with other test artifacts such as test data, data validation, and scripts. You should have 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Your ability to thrive in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment will be crucial. Proactive problem-solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail are essential qualities for this role. You will need to collaborate with software developers to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, create clear and concise test plans/cases, and focus on meeting deadlines and deliverables. Furthermore, you should be comfortable working in a team-based Agile environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
