Quality analyst for Mumbai Location

Role Overview: As a Senior Test Engineer in the QA team, your main responsibility will be to build new automation tests and maintain the existing suite of automated tests. You will also collaborate with the development team to report bugs and enhancements while ensuring efficient and stable builds. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in decision-making regarding test automation and manage the workflow and output of a small team of QA engineers. Key Responsibilities: - Build new automation tests and maintain existing automated tests - Execute and debug automated functional and back-end tests - Report bugs and enhancements to the Development team - Ensure efficient and stable builds - Collaborate with development and functional QA teams to decide on test automation - Mentor younger members of the test automation team and engineers in overseas locations Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5 years of work experience in a related field - Strong experience with object-oriented programming and concepts - Good understanding of software quality assurance practices - Ability to mentor junior team members - Proficiency in at least 2 of the following languages/scripting and frameworks: Java, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Selenium, FitNesse, SoapUI, Javascript, Groovy, Maven, Python, Ruby, Git - Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration, and code review practices is highly desired - Familiarity with open-source activities and contributions is a strong advantage.,
