Position Overview We’re looking for a detail-oriented SEO Technician with strong technical SEO expertise to join our remote team. You’ll be responsible for executing on-site technical SEO tasks that directly impact organic performance for our e-commerce clients. From crawling and indexing fixes to site speed optimization, you’ll ensure our clients’ websites are search-engine friendly and primed for growth. Key Responsibilities Conduct technical SEO audits using industry-standard tools (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc.) Identify and resolve crawl errors, indexing issues, and broken links Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile performance Implement structured data/schema markup Ensure proper XML sitemap creation and submission Manage robots.txt and canonicalization best practices Optimize URL structures, internal linking, and site hierarchy Collaborate with developers to implement technical recommendations Monitor search performance metrics and provide actionable insights Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and SEO best practices Requirements 2+ years of technical SEO experience, ideally with e-commerce websites on Shopify and Wordpress Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or other e-commerce platforms Proficient in SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, etc. Knowledge of Core Web Vitals , page speed optimization, and responsive design Ability to analyze and interpret technical data into actionable strategies Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
