Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated fresher in Microbiology to join our Quality Control Laboratory. The candidate will support routine microbiological testing and ensure product quality as per regulatory and company standards.

• Key Responsibilities:

Perform Gram Staining techniques for microbial identification under supervision.

• Conduct routine environmental monitoring( settle plates, active air sampling, surface swabs, and personnel monitoring) in classified cleanrooms and aseptic processing areas.
• Assist in sampling & microbiological analysis of Raw Water, Purified Water (PW), and water for Injection(WFI) as per standard procedures.
• Prepare microbiological culture media including slants, broths, and plates, ensuring proper sterilization and documentation.
• Monitor media consumption and inventory.

Operate and maintain basic microbiology instruments including:

• Autoclave
• Laminar Air Flow (LAF) unit
• Biosafety Cabinet
• Analytical Balance
• pH meter
• BOD Incubator
• Bacteriological Incubator

Accurately record all microbiological activities in logbooks, batch records, and electronic systems as per Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

Maintain daily monitoring logs

Assist in the compilation and analysis of data trends to water testing and environmental monitoring (EM)

Support the preparation of trends reports and alert/action level justifications

Perform microbiological sampling using contact plates & swabs for personnel monitoring before and after aseptic operations.

Ensure timely incubation and result recording.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biotechnology
