Job Description

Perform
in-process and final inspections
of sheet metal components (e.g., stamping, bending, welding, punching).
Check
dimensional accuracy
using instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
Inspect
visual defects
(cracks, dents, corrosion, surface finish).
Conduct
First Article Inspection (FAI)
and create corresponding reports.
Monitor and audit
manufacturing processes
to ensure conformance to standards.
Identify non-conformances and initiate
corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
.

Maintain records of inspections, test results, and material certifications.
Prepare
Inspection Reports
,
Rejection Reports
, and
Deviation Notes
.
Maintain quality checklists, SOPs, and work instructions.
