Role: Qc Chemist
Qualification: Masters in Chemistry ( Freshers)
Responsibilities:
Testing and Analysis:
Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using techniques such as HPLC, UV, pH Meter, and etc…
Documentation:
Accurately document test results and observations. Ensure that all records comply with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and are maintained for audit readiness.
Preparing specifications for all raw materials, packing materials, finished products, intermediates and solvents, and reagents used in analyses.
Inspecting, sampling, and testing of all starting materials including packaging materials, Semifinished and finished products as per procedures defined in the Standard Operating Procedures
Preparing analysis reports for the tested samples, and recording and investigating any results that are Out of Specifications (OOS).
Preparation of Certificate of Analysis (COA)
To ensure Status labelling of Quality control instruments, Chemicals & Glassware.
Compliance and Audits:
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, ISO, ICH and other regulatory standards. Assist with internal and external audits and inspections, preparing necessary reports and corrective actions.
Instrument Calibration and Maintenance:
Regularly calibrate laboratory instruments and perform preventive maintenance to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Deviation Handling and CAPA:
Investigate any out-of-specification (OOS) results, deviations, or non-conformances. Initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Sample Management:
Manage the collection, labelling, and storage of samples for testing. Oversee stability studies and retention samples to ensure product consistency.
To check and update control sample details and to be discorded for as per the SOP.
Retaining reference samples from each batch of products semifinished and finished, raw materials released to the market.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of QC processes, suggesting and implementing enhancements to testing methods and practices.
Safety and Environment Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, ensuring safe handling of hazardous materials and compliance with environmental regulations.
