Job Title: Software Tester

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Software Tester to join our LAMS (Land Acquisition Management System) Team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual testing of web and mobile applications and will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and usability of our enterprise-grade land management platform used by leading infrastructure and renewable energy organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases for complex web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Prepare, maintain, and manage test data, test environments, and comprehensive test documentation.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies, ensuring timely resolution with development teams.
• Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members throughout the SDLC and STLC.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
• Proactively identify gaps in test coverage and suggest process improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 35 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of enterprise web and mobile applications.
• In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies functional, regression, black-box, exploratory testing, etc.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.
• Ability to write clear, comprehensive, and reusable test plans and test cases.
• Proficient in using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or Postman for API testing.
• Experience testing GIS applications or domain knowledge of land management systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
