QA/ Test Engineer

Role Overview: You should have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software testing. Your main responsibilities will include developing and executing accurate test cases based on requirements, analyzing results, and raising issues within the specified schedule. Ensure optimal test coverage, including positive, negative, and exception scenarios. Log defects with the appropriate priority, track them to closure, and understand the root cause of any issues. Test and verify that the software meets major architectural requirements and provide feedback on usability and serviceability. Develop and configure test automation, execute stability and performance tests. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with product management, developers, and system engineers to deliver stable enterprise software products. - Develop and execute test automation through test tools, apply automated testing strategies, and assist in building automated testing frameworks. - Analyze and verify the best automated and manual test approaches, execute acceptance, integration, installation, and system testing. - Record test results and reports, verify software bug fixes, engage in both functional and non-functional testing. - Participate in requirement understanding, Scrum meetings, reviews, and test strategy sessions. - Maintain QA and project documentation, analyze problems reported in production applications, communicate results with stakeholders for resolution. Qualification Required: - Strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to implement test plans, follow test processes, and record results. - Familiarity with software testing best practices, test automation skills, and experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress. - Basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or Python, experience with automation frameworks like Codecept.js, Serenity BDD, or Cucumber. - Proficiency in performance tools like JMeter, experience or knowledge of performance/load/volume testing. - Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and the pyramid test model, tools like JIRA and Git. - Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure, is considered a plus. - Ability to provide reports to senior stakeholders.,
