About the Job As a QA Team Lead at SaveIN, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the automation testing team while ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will play a key role in designing automation strategies, implementing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in testing processes. Job Summary As a QA Team Lead, you will oversee automation testing for web, API, and mobile applications, ensuring scalable and maintainable automation frameworks. You will work closely with the development and product teams to streamline testing, integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines, and ensure efficient bug tracking and resolution. What You Will Be Doing Test Automation Strategy & Execution: Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications. Automate web UI testing using Selenium with Page Object Model (POM) and TestNG. Implement and maintain API automation using Rest Assured for RESTful services. Design and execute mobile automation tests using Appium for Android and iOS. Ensure automation coverage, reusability, and scalability across all test layers. Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA automation engineers. Define best practices, coding standards, and testing guidelines. Conduct regular code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team mentoring. Track and improve the efficiency of test execution and team productivity. CI/CD & Process Integration: Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) to enable continuous testing. Manage automation code in Git, ensuring proper branching and version control. Implement shift-left testing to detect defects early in the SDLC. Defect Tracking & Reporting: Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and track defects. Ensure effective bug tracking and reporting using tools like JIRA. Define and monitor QA metrics (test coverage, defect rates, automation ROI, etc.). Continuous Improvement & Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest testing tools, frameworks, and best practices. Optimize test execution speed, reduce flaky tests, and enhance test stability. Identify new automation tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency. Who We Are Looking For Must-Have Skills: 4+ years of experience in test automation, including team leadership/mentorship experience. Strong Java programming skills for automation. Hands-on experience with Selenium (POM, TestNG) for web automation. Expertise in API testing using Rest Assured. Experience with mobile automation (Appium) for iOS and Android. Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and version control using Git. Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA) and defect life cycle management. Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with development teams. Good to Have: Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
