The Candidate will be results-driven software tester to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. Role Overview: Position: QA Executive / Sr. Executive (Software Tester) Location: Kolkata (Work from office only) Experience: 5 - 8 years To be successful as a software tester, you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the software tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design. The software tester will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team. You may also interact with clients in order to understand the requirements of the product. Responsibility: As a Quality Engineer the person should have good Testing Exposure on Manual Testing as well as knowledge in Automation Testing (Preferably in Selenium, Cucumber, LoadRunner etc.). Should have solid experience in testing web/mobile based multi device/multi browser interfaces. The person will be responsible for executing the quality assurance testing of new and customized features as well as general site releases. Through a variety of web browsers/mobile devices in a multi-tenant environment. Candidate should be excellent team player, yet capable of working independently, and will be able to manage multiple projects at once. She/he will be expected to work with minimal direction and should be comfortable of leading cross-team test practices, conference calls, and working proactively and collaboratively as members of large global project and test teams. Required Skills: Extensive experience on manual testing of Web and Mobile applications. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies like functional, compatibility, regression, Integration, performance and User Acceptance testing, tools, and processes. Experience in writing comprehensive test plans and test cases. Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating quality testing activities. Ability to quickly adapt the domain specific business concepts/logic. Preparing Test Environment to execute the test cases and tracking the defects. Ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with Development team, project managers and other test teams, to ensure the quality of the owned components, clarify functional requirements, determine testing, and test automation requirements, and provide feedback on design solutions. Good client handling skill. Good to have: API Testing using Postman tool Experience with databases, including SQL Load Testing using jMeter/ BlazeMeter Automation Testing using Selenium-Java Why Arukus?
