About the Role

QA Engineer with 1-3 years of experience

WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and other web-based projects

You will work closely with our developers and project team to ensure websites are functional, responsive, visually accurate, and ready for client delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Test websites and eCommerce stores for functionality, usability, and design accuracy.
• Test

  WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify

  websites.
• Check completed websites against approved designs and project requirements.
• Test websites across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Perform cross-browser testing on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.
• Test forms, menus, links, buttons, search, filters, login/registration, and other website functionality.
• Test eCommerce functionality including products, variants, cart, checkout, coupons, shipping, payments, and order emails.
• Identify design, responsive, content, and functionality issues.
• Prepare and maintain test cases and QA checklists based on project requirements.
• Report bugs clearly with screenshots, steps to reproduce, expected results, and relevant details.
• Re-test issues after developers complete fixes and perform regression testing where required.
• Perform complete pre-launch and post-launch QA.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in website/software QA.
• Good hands-on experience with

  manual website testing

  .
• Experience testing

  WordPress, WooCommerce, and Shopify

  websites.
• Good understanding of

  SDLC and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle)

  , including test planning, test case preparation, test execution, bug reporting, retesting, and regression testing.
• Good understanding of responsive and cross-browser testing.
• Understanding of common eCommerce functionality and customer journeys.
• Ability to identify both visual/design and functional issues.
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS would be an advantage.
• Good written communication and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of QA.
• Experience using

  AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools

  to assist with test cases, test scenarios, troubleshooting, and other QA activities would be an advantage.
