Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse functional and business requirements and prepare comprehensive

  test scenarios, test cases, and test data

  .
• Perform

  functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing

  for web and mobile applications.
• Execute test cases across different environments and validate application behaviour against requirements.
• Identify, document, prioritise, and track defects through resolution using tools such as

  Jira

  .
• Perform basic

  API testing

  and validate data using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Develop, execute, and maintain basic automated test scripts using

  Selenium WebDriverIO

  .
• Execute automation suites, analyse failures, and collaborate with developers to identify underlying issues.
• Maintain QA artefacts including test cases, test scenarios, execution reports, automation scripts, and defect logs.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Participate in

  Agile/Scrum ceremonies

  , including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Explore and leverage

  AI tools relevant to software testing and QA

  to improve test case creation, test coverage, defect analysis, documentation, and overall testing efficiency.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Manual / Software Testing

  .
• Strong understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, test methodologies, and defect life cycle

  .
• Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
• Good understanding of

  functional, regression, exploratory, integration, and end-to-end testing

  .
• Experience with

  defect tracking and test management tools

  , preferably Jira.
• Working knowledge of

  API testing

  , preferably using Postman or similar tools.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in an

  Agile/Scrum development environment

  .

Preferred / Good to Have

• Hands-on exposure to

  Selenium WebDriverIO

  automation.
• Working knowledge of

  TypeScript and JavaScript

  .
• Basic understanding or hands-on experience with

  Node.js

  .
• Ability to understand, execute, troubleshoot, and make minor enhancements to existing automation scripts.
• Exposure to

  CI/CD tools and pipelines

  such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of

  SQL and database validation

  .
• Experience using

  AI tools for software testing or QA activities
