Job Description: QA Engineer (Manual & Automation Testing)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of software testing methodologies, test case preparation, bug reporting, and automation testing fundamentals to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Identify, document, track, and report bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts.
• Work with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure software quality before release.
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other team members.
• Maintain test documentation and share testing reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database testing is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience testing responsive websites and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
