QA Automation (Cypress+API Testing)

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end automated test suites using Cypress for web UI. Your responsibilities will include ensuring reliable regression coverage and fast feedback loops. You will also be authoring and executing automated API tests to validate REST/GraphQL endpoints, data contracts, and error-handling scenarios. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test suites using Cypress for web UI. - Author and execute automated API tests to validate REST/GraphQL endpoints. - Build and evolve a modular, reusable Test Automation Framework to improve maintainability. - Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines for gated deployments and automated reporting. - Triaging test failures, collaborating with developers to resolve defects, and driving defect prevention. - Measure and improve test reliability by reducing flakes and producing actionable test reports. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA with a focus on test automation (Cypress + API testing). - Proven experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD for stable pipelines with automated reporting.
