Your primary responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable web scraping solutions using Python to extract structured data from various e-commerce websites. You will be tasked with handling challenges such as CAPTCHA, rotating proxies, and anti-scraping techniques to ensure data integrity. Additionally, you will work on integrating machine learning models and algorithms into the search engine for recommendation, ranking, and personalization purposes. Collaboration with front-end and back-end developers will be essential to integrate scraped data and AI models into the user-facing product. You will be required to write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices and provide regular updates on project milestones and deliverables. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and managing data storage systems and optimizing data pipelines for fast querying and retrieval by the search engine. To be successful in this role, you should have proficiency in Python and related libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or similar tools. Experience in web scraping, familiarity with AI/ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and knowledge of NLP techniques will be advantageous.
