Python Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Carelon Global Solutions India, your role will involve working effectively with a team of application developers and collaborating with solution architects and onsite leads to deliver projects and enhancements. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to undertake: - Work with a team of application developers and vendor partners to deliver projects and applications efficiently. - Manage end-to-end projects from Requirement Gathering to software development and implementation, including overseeing operations team. - Analyze and evaluate detailed business and technical requirements. - Code and maintain complex components of information systems. - Develop and perform unit testing, fix defects, and re-execute tests to validate results. - Ensure code quality by conducting technical design and code reviews, taking module level ownership. - Propose automation solutions to enhance efficiency, address security and performance concerns, and create reusable code components. - Ensure on-time development completion with low defect rate through close interactions and reviews with other developers. - Be willing to learn new technologies and applications. - Be prepared to work on support projects if necessary. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering Stream. - Nice to have: Specialized training, certifications in AWS & Python, or other special requirements. - Preferred education: Computer Science/Engineering. Experience: - Minimum experience: Hands-on experience in Software development/IT project support for at least 1 year with a minimum of 2+ years of overall IT experience. - Preferred experience: 2 to 5 years.
