Python Selenium Tester

As an Automation Test Engineer specializing in Python and Selenium, your role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation test scripts using Python and Selenium. You will be responsible for creating robust test frameworks and utilities to support continuous testing and delivery. Your tasks include executing automated test cases, analyzing results to ensure high-quality software releases, and collaborating closely with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to identify, log, and resolve defects. Additionally, you will contribute to the improvement of automation processes and test coverage. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Python and Selenium. - Develop robust test frameworks and utilities to support continuous testing and delivery. - Execute automated test cases and analyze results to ensure high-quality software releases. - Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to identify, log, and resolve defects. - Contribute to the improvement of automation processes and test coverage. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automation test scripts for web applications. - Strong understanding of automation framework architecture (Page Object Model, data-driven, hybrid, etc.). - Proficient in debugging and maintaining existing automated tests. - Strong working knowledge of Pytest for unit and functional testing. - Experience structuring test cases, using fixtures, parameterization, and assertions effectively. - Knowledge of integrating Pytest with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI). - Practical understanding of AWS S3 for managing buckets, permissions, and object lifecycle policies. - Hands-on experience creating and deploying AWS Lambda functions and integrating them with other AWS services. - Familiarity with Docker containers, writing Docker files, and containerizing applications. - Understanding of container deployment and usage in test environments. In addition to the technical requirements, preferred qualifications for this role include experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.), knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or py test-requests, exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
