Python QA Engineer with ETL Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled Python QA Engineer with ETL testing experience to become a valuable member of our team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in automation testing, ETL processes, and data validation. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL processes and data pipelines. You will be required to automate ETL and data validation testing utilizing Python and SQL. Collaboration with data engineers and developers to ensure data integrity and accuracy will be a key aspect of this role. Additionally, you will design, create, and maintain automated test frameworks for data pipelines and ETL workflows. Conducting functional, regression, and performance testing of ETL systems, troubleshooting issues in ETL workflows, tracking defects, and cooperating with development teams for issue resolution will also be part of your duties. Validating data transformations, data mappings, and data loads to guarantee precision will be essential. Required Skills & Experience: - 4-9 years of experience in QA automation and ETL testing. - Proficiency in Python for test automation. - Hands-on experience with SQL for data validation and ETL testing. - Knowledge of ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or AWS Glue. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and big data technologies. - Understanding of API testing and automation frameworks. - Familiarity with pytest, Selenium, or other Python-based testing frameworks. - Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, Docker, etc.). Preferred Skills: - Experience with Cloud ETL solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, or other data processing frameworks. - Experience with performance testing and data reconciliation. - Hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, or other test management tools.
