Python Developer Junior (SDET)

Role Overview: You are a Junior Python SDET with 1.5-3 years of experience, responsible for test automation, API testing, and collaborating with client teams in a telecom environment. Your core skills include automation tools like Selenium and Python-based libraries, proficiency in REST API automation, and strong programming capabilities in Python. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize automation tools such as Selenium for web automation and Python-based libraries like Pywinauto, AutoIt, or PyAutoGUI for desktop automation. - Demonstrate proficiency in REST API automation using tools like Requests, Postman, or Pytest with API plugins. - Exhibit a solid command of Python, including OOPs concepts, exception handling, and experience with test frameworks like unittest or pytest. - Apply your domain expertise in networking/telecom environments, network protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, SIP), and familiarity with telecom systems or network configuration tools. - Additional skills such as knowledge of OCR concepts and tools like Tesseract OCR, EasyOCR, or OpenCV, as well as experience in extracting data from screenshots or scanned documents are considered a plus. Qualifications Required: - 1.5-3 years of experience in Python development and automation. - Proficiency in automation tools including Selenium, Pywinauto, AutoIt, or PyAutoGUI. - Strong programming skills in Python with knowledge of OOPs and test frameworks like unittest or pytest. - Understanding of networking/telecom environments, network protocols, and telecom systems. - Knowledge of REST API automation using tools like Requests, Postman, or Pytest. - Familiarity with OCR concepts and tools for data extraction.
