Python Automation (PowerShell)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test and validation frameworks using Python, Robot Framework, and scripting tools on Linux and Windows platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong scripting and debugging skills and a solid understanding of test automation practices, CI/CD workflows, and cross-platform system validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks using Python and Robot Framework.

• Develop Bash or PowerShell scripts to automate system setup, build, and deployment activities across Linux and Windows environments.

• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and log defects using standard issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira).

• Integrate test scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure test coverage and quality assurance.

• Develop reusable test libraries and utilities to improve automation efficiency.

• Perform API testing, functional validation, and regression testing for software or embedded components.

• Maintain test documentation, test cases, and reports in compliance with project standards.

• Troubleshoot automation failures and provide root cause analysis for system and environment issues.
