Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Team Management: Lead and manage a team of technical professionals Data Engineer and Application Developers, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring successful project delivery.
Status Reporting: Prepare and present detailed status reports on ongoing projects to stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve any technical challenges or roadblocks faced by the team, ensuring smooth project execution.
Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

Preferred candidate profile:

Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, SQL etc.

Deep expertise with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, AWS RDS, Azure SQL, or GCP Cloud SQL, Apache Spark and Apache Airflow.

Strong understanding of Lakehouse architecture, Data Mesh principles, data governance frameworks, and modern data pipelines.

Proven ability to deliver high-impact, API-first services at scale.

Proficiency with tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is critical for managing cloud infrastructure programmatically, ensuring consistency, and enabling automation.

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Experience in guiding and supporting junior engineers.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
