Description
As a Storage and Backup Architect at our company, you will be responsible for designing end-to-end storage, backup, and disaster recovery architectures across on-premises and Azure environments. Your role will involve architecting scalable, secure, and highly available Azure IaaS/PaaS storage solutions such as Blob, Files, Disks, and Archive. You will also be expected to define best practices, high-level and low-level designs (HLDs, LLDs), standards, and policies for storage and backup. Key Responsibilities: - Design end-to-end storage, backup, and disaster recovery architectures - Architect scalable, secure, and highly available Azure IaaS/PaaS storage solutions - Define best practices, high-level and low-level designs, standards, and policies - Lead infrastructure and cloud migration projects involving storage/backup - Define and enforce architectural standards, operational procedures, and automation-first principles - Implement and manage automation for scaling, backups, disaster recovery, patching, and compliance - Serve as the highest-level technical escalation point for complex issues - Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical incidents - Mentor and support L1-L3 engineers; review technical designs and changes - Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, and cloud architects Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science - 10+ years of experience in Backup and Storage Administration on cloud - Strong expertise in designing storage, backup, and disaster recovery architectures - Knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS storage solutions - Experience in leading infrastructure and cloud migration projects - Familiarity with automation-first principles and best practices - Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams In addition to the specific responsibilities and qualifications outlined above, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and propose improvements to optimize cost and performance.
