We are looking for an experienced technical purchase professional to identify, evaluate and develop reliable casting suppliers and machining facilities for our components in and around Raipur
Identify and source suitable casting foundries (grey iron, SG iron, steel, aluminium, as applicable) for our components
Experience in Auction, bidding, scrap .
Locate and evaluate machining vendors in Rajkot and nearby industrial areasVisit supplier sites to assess capability, capacity, quality systems and pricingStudy drawings and technical specifications and discuss them with vendorsNegotiate prices, delivery schedules and payment termsCoordinate sample development, first-article inspection and approvalFollow up on orders to ensure on-time, quality deliveriesMaintain a vendor database and records of quotations, rates and performance
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering3 - 8 years of experience in a casting company/foundryGood knowledge of casting processes, defects and machining operationsAbility to read and understand engineering drawingsStrong network of foundries and machine shops in Rajkot preferred
