Purchase Manager

Company:

• Manage procurement of

  Ayurvedic herbs, raw materials, extracts, oils, excipients, and active ingredients

  .
• Procure

  primary/secondary packaging materials, consumables, and engineering items

  .
• Identify, develop, and manage

  approved and reliable vendors

  .
• Obtain quotations and negotiate

  price, quality, delivery, MOQ, and payment terms

  .
• Prepare, release, and monitor

  Purchase Orders (POs)

  .
• Ensure

  timely availability of materials

  to avoid production delays.
• Coordinate with

  Production, PPC, QA/QC, Stores, Finance, R&D, and Engineering

  .
• Monitor

  vendor performance, delivery schedules, quality issues, and complaints

  .
• Drive

  cost reduction, price benchmarking, and procurement savings

  .
• Maintain optimum inventory and minimize

  stock-outs and emergency purchases

  .
• Ensure procurement compliance with

  GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and company policies

  .
• Maintain

  vendor records, purchase documentation, MIS, and procurement reports

  .
• Develop

  alternate sources

  for critical and high-value materials.
• Lead, guide, and monitor the

  Purchase/Procurement team

  .
• Support

  vendor qualification, audits, and periodic vendor evaluation

  .
• Ensure continuous improvement in

  procurement cost, quality, delivery, and efficiency

  .

Qualification & Experience

  Pharmacy, Commerce, Management, Supply Chain, or related field

• 58 years of relevant experience

  Ayurvedic/Pharma/Herbal Manufacturing
