Job Description

Manage procurement of direct and indirect materials, consumables, components, and services required for plant operations.
Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, cost competitiveness, and continuous improvement.
Lead supplier sourcing, negotiation, contract finalization, and annual cost reduction initiatives.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, and Stores teams to prevent material shortages.
Execute RFQs, comparative analysis, purchase orders, and vendor performance evaluations.
Drive localization, alternate sourcing, and value engineering projects to optimize procurement costs.
Ensure adherence to procurement policies, audit requirements, and statutory compliance.
Analyze procurement KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and present sourcing strategies to management.
