Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials as per production plans to avoid line stoppages.
Monitor Plan vs Actual consumption and supply, taking corrective actions for deviations.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, and drive actions on slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete materials.
Coordinate with suppliers for on-time dispatch, ensuring adherence to delivery commitments and improving supplier performance.
Drive CAPA for failure parts using Why-Why analysis and ensure effective closure to avoid recurrence.

YOUR PROFILE

B.E./B.Tech graduate with experience in Purchase / Procurement/Supply Chain in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of material planning, vendor management, and inventory control.
Proven ability to analyse Plan vs Actual, manage shortages, and prevent production disruptions.
Hands-on experience in supplier performance monitoring, CAPA, and root cause analysis (Why-Why).
Good negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery.
