Pump & Blower Mechanic

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair different types of pumps and blowers (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, screw, vacuum, etc.).
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal operation and reduce downtime.
• Dismantle and assemble pumps/blowers for overhaul or repair work.
• Identify mechanical faults, perform alignment, and replace worn-out parts such as seals, bearings, and impellers.
• Calibrate and test equipment to ensure proper functionality after repair or installation.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations during work.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance or urgent repairs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing pumps and blowers in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of pump alignment, bearing replacement, lubrication systems, and mechanical seals.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Basic understanding of safety practices and mechanical drawings.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in industrial environments.

Job Location :Chennai/ Dindigul/ coimbatore
