Job Description

As a PKI Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in leading secure identity and encryption solutions. Your expertise in Public Key Infrastructure, certificate management, and cybersecurity protocols will be utilized to ensure the highest level of digital trust and security for our clients. You will be responsible for applying your in-depth knowledge of PKI and cryptographic standards such as PKCS, X.509, PKIX, and ETSI in enterprise environments. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Certificate Services, including the setup, configuration, and maintenance of Certificate Authorities (CAs) and related components, will be essential in your role. Your proficiency in managing certificate-enabled applications like SSL/TLS, S/MIME, EFS, 802.1X, smart card authentication, and code signing will be crucial. Additionally, your strong understanding of cryptographic principles, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, secure hashing algorithms, and digital signatures, will enable you to design and implement secure solutions. Familiarity with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), SSL offloading techniques, key recovery mechanisms, and EFS recovery processes will further enhance your capabilities. Your working knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and its integration with Microsoft PKI for certificate enrollment and authentication will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations. You will be involved in managing Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs), including renewal and publishing to CDP (CRL Distribution Point) locations like HTTP and LDAP. Your ability to assist in the design, deployment, and upgrade of PKI infrastructure while ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance with security policies will be essential. Troubleshooting and resolving PKI-related issues, documenting and maintaining detailed documentation of PKI architecture, policies, and procedures, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and organizational standards will be part of your responsibilities.
