Public Administration Faculty (UPSC)

Job Summary:

A Public Administrator is responsible for managing public agencies, implementing public policies, and delivering services to communities. They ensure government operations are efficient, transparent, and aligned with laws and regulations. This role often involves policy analysis, budget management, program oversight, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate public policies and programs.
• Manage budgets, financial reports, and resource allocation for government departments or projects.
• Coordinate with government officials, departments, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Supervise and support staff in delivering public services.
• Collect and analyze data to assess program performance and policy effectiveness.
• Write reports, proposals, and policy briefs.
• Engage with the public to understand community needs and feedback.
• Monitor legislation and advise decision-makers on its potential impact.
• Represent the organization at public meetings or in the media.
