This position requires a 10-hour workday and candidates with GCC/KSA work experience are preferred. The salary will be decided based on the candidate's work experience. Qualification criteria: - Associate Engineering degree in Electrical/Electronics/Power Engineering. - Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field or equivalent combinations of education and experience. - Hands-on experience in critical project execution. - Hands-on experience in protection upgrade. - Hands-on experience in advanced protection relays. - Hands-on experience in testing of MV/LV Switchgears and equipment. Roles and responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service. - Perform testing and commissioning of electrical power system equipment and advanced protection relays at customer premises. - Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair customer equipment. - Provide technical support for all Schneider products, both on-site and in the plant. - Offer technical instruction and guidance to Category B Engineers. - Analyze equipment malfunctions and use knowledge of systems and electronics to isolate and correct issues. - Be available for emergency calls and interventions, maintain service equipment, tools, and documentation, and attend emergency calls. - Strictly adhere to SE safety policies and Cybersecurity Policies and prepare safety documents such as Risk assessments, LOTO checklists, and near miss reports. - Understand the scope of work, respect time allocation, and ensure full traceability (timesheet, change orders, etc.). - Prepare/modify site test procedures and test formats considering manufacturer recommendations and applicable standards. - Coordinate with customers for entry gate passes, work permits, etc. - Ensure installations are carried out as per approved engineering drawings and manufacturer recommendations. - Perform preventive, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance on equipment. - Escalate quality or technical issues detected in the field. - Organize site demobilization and return materials to central stores with documentation. - Prepare and compile as-built installation documentation and cable schedules. - Certification and accreditation may be required based on Business and Country regulations. - Actively participate in team initiatives and management meetings to achieve departmental and company goals. - Support planners, coordinators, and project managers in understanding good customer site conditions. - Obtain customer acceptance after on-site work execution. - Properly document, label, and return all defective parts used in equipment repair to the designated disposal/repair location. - Assist Schneider Electric/ABB Service Partners in site visits and evaluate technical and professional performance.
