Styling Intern - Production House About Us: Project zero is a leading creative production company specializing in campaigns, television, and commercial content, music videos and branded content, high-end fashion and lifestyle shoots. We are dedicated to creating visually stunning and compelling stories for a diverse range of clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Styling Intern to join our dynamic team and assist in the visual development of our projects. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the fast-paced and exciting world of stills and video production. Key Responsibilities: * Pre-Production Research: Assist the lead stylist and costume designer in conducting research on fashion trends, historical periods, and character-specific wardrobe needs for various projects. * Wardrobe Sourcing & Pulls: Help source, pull, and organize clothing, accessories, and props from designers, showrooms, and thrift stores. This includes tracking samples and managing returns. * Fitting & Alterations: Assist with model and talent fittings, taking measurements, and making minor adjustments or coordinating with tailors as needed. * On-Set Support: Provide hands-on assistance on set during shoots. This includes dressing talent, maintaining continuity between scenes, and ensuring all garments are clean and well-maintained. * Wardrobe Management: Organize and maintain the production's wardrobe racks, costume changes, and styling kits, ensuring all items are clearly labeled and easily accessible. * Administrative Tasks: Support the styling department with administrative duties such as creating mood boards, preparing call sheets with wardrobe details, and managing receipts and expense reports. * Costume Breakdown: Assist with the aging or "breaking down" of costumes to achieve a specific look or feel for a character. Qualifications: * Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a fashion, costume design, film, or related program. * A strong passion for fashion, costume history, and visual storytelling. * Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. * Ability to work long hours and under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment. * Knowledge of garment care, basic sewing skills, and wardrobe continuity. * A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit.
